tomatoed pork (kinamatisan)

Easy to prepare and budget friendly dish that I've learned from my mother-in-law




Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo pork ribs
- 5-6 pcs. diced tomatoes
- 1 med. size onion, quartered
- napa cabbage or bok choy
- salt to taste
- water

Procedure:
- put onions and tomatoes in a pot. cook in a low heat until the tomatoes become watery
- add pork ribs and cook for about 3 minutes
- add water, just enough to cover the pork
- bring to a boil, then lower the heat
- add salt to taste
- cook some more until the pork is tender
- add the napa cabbage or bok choy
- and then turn off heat
- serve and enjoy
