dec 23 - we went to snoqualmie summit. it was our first time to encounter snow so we've prepared ourselves not to get cold. we wore three layers of clothes:
* base layer - thermal, this should not be cotton
* fleece - i wore fleece for the top and just a cotton leggings for my bottoms
* waterproof/windbreaker jacket - i wore my bubble jacket
* snow pants - this is important especially if you're going to play in the snow
* snow boots - or any shoes that will not make you slip. better buy your own since rental cost $30.
mark enrolled in 3 session ski class while lila and i just went on tubing. the 3 session class cost $119, for tubing - $22 for adults and $5 for 5yo and below.
the trip was fun, lila enjoyed a lot because she's been waiting for the snow eversince she arrived here.
update:
oh! i forgot - beanie and waterproof gloves or mittens
